Lazy Lanes Bowl & Grill officially opened June 13 2018 in the former Akron Lanes at 331 Reed St. under the ownership of Rachel Nelson and Don Mullinix of Akron.
The Lazy Lanes Bowl & Grill’s hours are:
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. except for 3 to 4 p.m.
• Fridays, 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. except 3 to 4 p.m.
• Saturdays, 4 p.m. – 2 a.m.; and
• Closed Sundays and Mondays.
People can also have private parties such as for birthdays or special occasions before 4 p.m. Saturdays, said Nelson. Just call 712-568-BOWL (2695) to make arrangements.
The menu includes appetizers of breaded pickles, broccoli bites, cheese balls, chips, French fries, gizzards, mozzarella sticks, onion petals, potato wedges. Plus pork fritters, pizza burgers, chicken strips and mini corndogs. And don’t forget the shakes, malts, pop and alcoholic beverages.
This summer it will all be “open bowling” as bowling leagues won’t start until this fall.
The Outdoor Garden is also open and soon there will be activities and games there, too.
