Since 1976 Minn-Iowa Agency has served the insurance needs of the people of Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Minn-Iowa Agency was started by John Keister in Elmore and moved to Blue Earth in 1979. Minn-Iowa has been located in the Faribault County Ag Center since 1992. In 2000 Lars Bierly joined the staff as an agent and in 2006 Minn-Iowa purchased the Acordia Insurance Agency of Blue Earth and added Karen Schaible to the staff. In 2015 Lars purchased the agency from John and has since added Shalaine Olson as an agent and Ali Bierly in business operations.
At Minn-Iowa Agency we provide insurance solutions for our customers’ homes, autos, farms and businesses. We also handle individual and group life, health, disability and long term care insurance. As an independent agency we work with multiple companies to provide our customers the appropriate coverage at the right price.
