January’s Winterfest, one of Worthington’s newest events, is sure to add chilling excitement to the winter season. Participate in the Southwest Minnesota Fishing Club’s Ice Fishing Tournament. Be sure to catch The Deep Freeze Dip (local residents jump into ice cold Lake Okabena) all to raise money for a local charity. Sample an assortment of chili during the Chili Cook off competition. Other events include Don't Get Lost in the Frost 5K walk, Broom Ball, Pond Hockey and more are sure to please!
