The town was platted in 1880, and was named for the first settler, J. B. Webster. A place for all seasons!
We decided years ago that if Webster was to sustain itself in the global economy, we needed to build a community that was attractive to locals, yet had enough appeal to attract substantial industry and visionary entrepreneurs. So far, several companies have bought into our vision and we continue to search for more.
