Brooklyn's Boutique

Business in Oskaloosa, IA

mBrooklyn’s Boutique accepts clothing & MOST items that are child related. Items we no longer accept are cribs, stuffed animals, bedding sets and baby bottles. We ask that items be clean, stain and odor free, in good condition, without garage sale stickers, and brought in according to the current season.

Items determined not to be up to the standards of the store will be donated to a local charity.

CONSIGNMENTS (of more than approximately 25 items) ARE ACCEPTED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

When bringing items in, we will be putting them into OUR totes to eliminate the pile up of consignors containers. If bringing in more than 3 of OUR containers, it may be requested that you make more than one appointment.

Consignment Period starts once the items are out for sale.

Items are priced and put out as soon as possible after being brought in and given eight weeks from that time.

At the end of the eight weeks, if you wish to reclaim your items, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to come and pull those items. When you drop things off you will be given a “RECLAIM DATE”. If Items are not reclaimed by the date given, those items will become the property of Brooklyn’s Boutique to be sold or donated to charity.

The Consignor will have a choice to receive 50% of the sale price for each item sold if using as “Store Credit” or 40% if taking as a “Payout”. At ANYTIME

the consignor may use their profits as “Store Credit.” Consignors who

choose to receive profits as a “Payout”, are requested

not to call or stop in for account status or payment more often than once a week.

I reserve the right to price all items. I try to be fair and price according to brand names and condition of items.

If the Consignor fails to claim their profits within 6 months of original delivery date, the Consignor forfeits any and all profits from sales.

All accounts expire after one year of inactivity.

I am committed to handling your consignment items with care; however, I will not be responsible for damage or loss due to fire, theft, water, customer carelessness, etc.
