Comforts of Home Quilting & More

Business in Jamestown, ND

Trish, the owner of Comforts of Home Quilting and More, has loved stitching ever since she was a little girl. She learned to sew and quilt at the knee of her mother and grandmother and has enjoyed working with fabrics and sewing machines for as long as she can remember. Trish made her first quilt nearly thirty years ago, and from that moment on she was hooked.

However, when Trish bought Comforts of Home Quilting and More back in 2005, everyone thought she was nuts. Trish was working as a full-time nurse at the time, and no one thought she’d be able to juggle both jobs, but she did. Currently she works half-time as a nurse and half-time at the store, thanks to her staff of committed employees and a whole bunch of friends and family members who are always happy to lend a hand.

For Trish, quilting has always been a way to relieve stress and relax, plus it’s cheaper than therapy. When she took over the shop, she wanted to provide lots of patterns and kits that were fast, fun, easy and turned out great. She is also willing to special order the more technical products, so if you’re looking for something she doesn’t stock, Trish and her staff will do what it takes to find exactly what you want.

Comforts of Home Quilting and More is known throughout the state as being one of the friendliest shops around. The help and customer service they offer often surprises local visitors and those who stop by their store in North Dakota on their way to visit Frontier Town and the World's Largest Buffalo just down the street.

If you’re in the area, come by and say hello. If not, drop them an email or check out their amazing selection of quilting kits and fabrics online.
