Brief History
Our History starts in 1899, when a franchise was obtained to operate a telephone exchange in Odebolt and was officially named Sac County Mutual Telephone Company in 1902. A switchboard was established in the neighboring town of Arthur the next year. By 1975 new switchboards were installed in both exchanges which allowed more calling features and options to our customers. In 1995 the cable television service was brought to the Battle Creek and Arthur communities, and Odebolt the cable television service was purchased in 2013. Currently we are finishing up our Fiber to the Home (FTTH) project to our Odebolt and Arthur phone and internet customers which will allow us to provide the highest level of telecommunications available.
