Holstein Swimming Pool

Holstein Swimming Pool is open to the public for recreational swim time on a daily basis from Memorial Day until the first week of September. Built in 1939, Holstein Pool has been a center for family recreation and fitness for almost 80 years. Our goal is to provide a safe, healthy, and fun place to work and play for the residents of Holstein community and surrounding areas.

A strong affiliation with the American Red Cross allows the pool to offer a full range of aquatic programs, including Learn-to-Swim lessons for children ages 6 months through adults. In addition, Holstein Pool is a training center for Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor courses and draws participants from many surrounding pools to attend classes for Red Cross certification.

Programs for adults include adult lap swim, water walking times and water exercise groups. A variety of community group activities such as high school athletic team workouts, scout advancement instruction, church youth group sessions, community promotional events, water safety education presentations, and private party rentals are available upon request.
Registration under the Iowa Department of Health and regular inspections ensure that the pool meets or exceeds all health and safety standards.
