The Osceola County Freedom Rock in Ashton features three veterans: World War I veteran George Veenker of Ashton, World War II veteran Emma Schweer of Ocheyedan and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran Leland Zahn of Harris. The rock may be viewed in Ashton Wayside Park.
